chocolate bundt cake

As we slowly turn our house by the sea into a home I am finding myself in major nesting mode. Out on a Saturday night? Nope... Home baking a chocolate bundt cake? Yep! This cake is so delicious, easy to make, and one of my dessert staples. From my mama to me to you... hope you love it!

Ingredients:
1 package chocolate cake mix
4 ounces instant chocolate pudding
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup water
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream or plain greek yogurt
1 teaspoon vanilla
12 ounces chocolate chips

Combine mix, pudding, oil, water, vanilla and sour cream. Crack in eggs and then fold in chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes.

the cottage

It has been nearly 4 years since Erik and I sat across the table from Mona and Phil as they graciously chose us to live in the cottage. I don't think we could have been happier. After two years of living in our tiny shoebox in San Francisco we were ready.

It was the first real home we ever shared... it was where we went from boyfriend and girlfriend, to fiances, to husband and wife and on December 17th we moved. We moved to the sweetest little home we could ever imagine and though we couldn't feel more blessed and excited to have a place of our very own, a small piece of our hearts will always be with the cottage where so many of our dreams came true.
